LET'S GO RAW!

  • Transition at a pace you are comfortable with

  • Achieve balance over time &  alternate your animal-based proteins. Most minerals will be provided through a diet that varies and includes muscle meat, organ meat, fish, dairy, raw meaty bones

  • Don't forget about calcium, fat, and some fiber (calcium needs to be added if raw meaty bones or ground bone is not fed; animal fats are a good choice for fats but check your dog's stool to see if they are having a reaction)

  • Unless you are opting to give a calcium supplement (900 milligrams per lb of food served), feed raw meaty bones (RMB). Perhaps feed the first meal muscle meat and the second one RMB to get this balance (raw meaty bones have muscle meat on them)

  • 5-10% organ meat (liver, kidney)

  • Start by feeding 2-3% of your dog's body weight (between two meals). Look at and feel your dog to understand where they are at.

  • Limit your pulverized vegetables if you choose to feed

  • Add fish oil

  • Consider adding a blend consisting of vitamins, digestive enzymes, probiotics.

Not only will your dog look its best, it will perform its best.
